We are delighted that you will be participating in this regional gender forum. The forum is
being organized by SouthAsia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF), a multi-donor facility
established and managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank
Group, in collaboration with Department of Women’s Studies at Dhaka University.
To facilitate your participation, SEDF will meet the cost of your airfare by economy travel and
most direct route as well as hotel accommodation for the duration of the Forum in Dhaka,
Bangladesh. Luncheons will be provided at the forum and we have arranged for you to have
dinners at your hotel.
Transportation to and from the Forum has been arranged for all participants and you will be
required to be at hotel’s reception at 8.45am to be taken to and from Spectra Convention Center.

Registration:
Registration will take place from 9:00am to 9:55am on Sunday 2nd October 2005 at Spectra
Convention Center. The formal opening will take place at 10:00am at the main ballroom of
Spectra Convention Centre. A program will be given to you on registration.

Visas:
It will be your responsibility to ensure that you obtain necessary travel visas.
Transportation to hotel on arrival:
Participants would be received at the arrival area at Dhaka Airport by a protocol officer from
Hotel Sarina. The officer will have a Hotel Sarina badge and a placard at the arrival hall with
the names of participants. You would be taken from the Airport to the hotel at no cost to you.
In the event you have changed your flight schedule you should fax the details to Hotel Sarina’s
reservation department. Please note that as airport transfers are included in your hotel rate we
will not be able to reimburse the cost of transportation if you make other arrangements.
Insurance/Medical Coverage:
It will be your responsibility to obtain/arrange travel and emergency medical insurance
coverage for your journey to and from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Airline Tickets:
Based on your location, arrangements are being made for an e-ticket or a Pre Paid Ticket
Advice (PTA) to be forwarded to you. The PTA will be forwarded through a designated airline.
Please note that if you wish to alter your travel arrangements, this must be done at your own
cost. In this regard, you may wish to communicate directly with our travel agents and
particularly if you experience any difficulty with your ticketing, route and flight arrangements.

Conditions of Participation:
As a condition of your participation you should be in good health and free from any ailment that
could impair your attendance. By agreeing to take part in this forum, it is understood that you
accept the terms of the award and the following conditions:

That the funding of your participation is on condition that you attend the forum fully and on a daily basis. |
| 2. |
That neither SEDF or its collaborators will assume responsibility for the following expenditure in connection with your attendance at the forum from 2nd to 3rd October 2005: |

Expenses incurred with respect to any insurance, medical bills or hospitalization |

b) |
Compensation in the event of death, disability or illness |

c) |
Loss of and damage to personal property |

d) |
Purchase of personal belongings and compensation for damage caused to them by climatic or other conditions. |

Expenses incurred as a result of flight delay or cancellation or missed flight. |
Finally, if for any reason you are unable to travel to Dhaka for the forum I will appreciate it if
your airline ticket can be returned to me by registered Air Mail or Courier at the earliest
possible opportunity but no later than the 17th October 2005.
